OUR GOALS

Our Mission Statement is “To Promote Public Awareness Of Wildlife Habitats Through Environmental Education”. The initial program focused primarily on native reptiles and amphibians.  Our program will be expanding to encompass other aspects of wildlife including butterflies, dragonflies and other species of interest.

KIDS FOR TURTLES Environmental Education has established an extensive and impressive program over such a short period of time.  The program’s success has been driven by the tireless efforts of several dedicated volunteers and a supportive growing membership.  What makes the program unique is that it is centered on the youth, who, with assistance from adult organizers and sponsors are the main mechanism by which the program is delivered.  Monetary and in-kind contributions to date have been extensive with assistance coming from countless organizations, agencies and associations. This level of support is anticipated into the foreseeable future as the program continues to expand in profile, scope and geography.
